This is the first stage of a global mapping of the various intermediary service providers, investors and related network players within the broadly defined area of impact investing. Impact investing is here regarded as including the full range of activity - from grant making to charitable initiatives or social enterprises to financial investment in high social impact investment opportunities that give varying levels of financial return.

Through this mapping we aim to create a searchable directory of global players active in the field of social investment in order to support consolidation and coherence within the overall social capital market, and make available to investors, donors and other interested parties detailed and easily accessible information on appropriate service providers who can meet their investment or grant making requirements.

Completion of this survey will enable your organization to be listed on the GSIX mapping site and will enable users of the site to search and find your organization based on what type of organization you are, where you are located, and where you focus your investment and/or development activities. Once they find you on the map or by searching for your name, they can view a basic profile on your organization and contact you directly.

This is a detailed survey that will enable us to gain a broad understanding of all the actors in the market and periodically produce and distribute reports on aggregated data to the various participants. The only information that will be made available to the public will be drawn from the more detailed profile you create, and will include contact information, your location and regions in which you work and a brief description of your work.
